British IPA

May I know if UK has its own English IPA like Americans. Complete UK pronunciation and accent resources would help. Majority of the British people I met are soooo PERFECTIONIST. They always say that their English is the most accurate and globally accepted than Americans. I am a non native speaker and I'm used to American English curriculum and language. My boss always correct my American accent and pronunciation. I really feel irritated .MAybe he's too foolish to understand language complexities .
