British accent: what pushed her from office was (a/the) consitutional court

At 1:19 into the video, the BBC reporter says:

"But what pushed her from office was _____ constitutional court finding her guilty of crime in a country which has only been a democracy for 30 years."

Did he say "a" or "the"?

At the beginning of the video, the court has been mentioned.

So I guess it should be "the". But somehow it sounds like "a" to my ears.
