When Not to pronounce Letter "T" in British English?
Please provide me with an example as well as an explanation.

Once I was told that the t wont be dropped in often in British accent, so it will be pronounced "of'en". And the thing that surprised me was that American accent used the "Often" pronounciation.
Anyway, the underlying question here is the rule to T pronounciation.
For example, is it supposed to be dropped in a word like letter or better?
Or perhaps in little.
