Britain English and American English

Dear teachers,

I saw an expression "taking those decisions" in a TV program.

And the dictionary says it is the British English, meaning "making an important or formal decision".

I wlould like to have your review please.

Thanks and best regards,

David Kim

Right, "take a decision" is a natural and common usage in BrE. I do remember hearing it said that it is used less in AmE. t1%3B%2Ctook%20the%20decision%3Aeng_gb_2012%3B%2Cc0 Hopefully an AmE speaker will be able to comment on this too.
