Are the following sentences acceptable?

1. In today’s modern society, each person everyone might be under pressure in some ways, such as schoolwork, work, and family.

2. Some people’s slumber might be influenced because of being under too much pressure, so it will bring out insomnia.

Surely "In modern society everyone may be under some pressure because of schoolwork, work, or family." There are lots of extraneous words in the original sentence

"Some people's slumber (I would use sleep "slumber" sounds awkward and unecessary) may be influenced by stress" (again I think the "too much" is not required)

You also don't need an apostrophe after 'work' as the word before the conjunction in a list does not require one.

there is nothing wrong with saying "in today's modern society", as you are distinguishing it from modern in the broader sense which could mean anywhere from 1950 to today! Better though, if you want to take out a work to say "In today's society". However the "modern" does make your point clearer. So I have no problem with "today's modern society", and you will hear this said in the media.
