Bangalore: A familiar face at IPL auctions, having been at all three thus far, Richard Madley, on the eve of the fourth, had the look of having seen it all. It didn't in any way stop him from being really excited. "This is the pinnacle of auctions, not just cricket auctions but in the history of auctions," gushed the professional auctioneer from England, whose family has a long tradition of bringing down the hammer, although by his own admission no one else has done it with real people involved as the objects.
