Bring & bring back

If the following two sentences are both correct, is there a difference in meaning between them?

1) Can you bring me some milk?

2) Can you bring me back some milk?

They are both possible; "back" emphasises the idea that someone is making a trip or journey and returning with the milk. For example, if the milk is in the next room then you wouldn't use (2). If the milk has to be bought from the nearby store then (2) is possible (though probably I would most naturally say "Can you get me some milk?").
