Could anybody help me to understand what "bring along" in the following sentence means?

Bring your friends along with UP

UP is a band that can track you activities, sleep etc.

UP is a device which you fix on your hand and it counts your steps, measures you blood pressure etc.

If "UP" is a pedometer, "Bring your friends along with UP" makes no sense.
