Brief., Though

I just heard in a interview..The interviewer is saying, "Very briefly, though"...and then something..what does he mean here...i understand briefly, but i dont understnad for though.Can someone explain pls.

Even though i'm not 100% fluent in English, i've done my best to help you. Hope it might be usefull to you.

Could have been anything. As I don't know the context, it could have rose from different situations.

Might have been something like:
Man saying: "I'll explain the periodic system to you briefly
Interviewer saying: "Very briefly though..."

In this situation the interviewer emphasizes "briefly" (as in the first line), like the explanation really can't take more than a few minutes.

Another situation could have been, that something might have been added after "though", which you may not have heard, like:
Woman saying: "Could you stay here for another two minutes, so I can inform you about the meeting tomorrow?"
Interviewer: "Very briefly, though i don't have alot of time"

In this situation "though" works like "because" would have done. To support why it has to be very briefly.
