BREEZE???

Is the Whole sentence correct?

She could feel a breeze coming in through the crack in the door, so she pulled the sheet over her back to cover her back. Her bare skin was no longer showing....

The second setnece isn't necessary but the paragraph goes on. What do you think about the sentence?

Thanks

It's OK grammatically, but there's no need to repeat 'her back'. I'd replace that with 'it'. Also, you often use 'the' where, I think, 'a' would also suffice.

  • If you write 'the sheet' or 'the crack', these things should have been specifically identified earlier.
  • It's a matter of style, not grammar.

I'd lke to comment a little on this.

I would say 'specifically identified or implied earlier'.

For example, we know that all cars have steering wheels.
