breath of skills

Kindly tell me the meaning of the phrase "breath of skills" in the sentence, "The complexity of smart community projects requires a wide breath of skills and an inter-organizational partnership."

Should it be amended to "breadth of skills?"

Kindly advise and thanks for your help in this regard.

Some authors refer to breadth of skills as a broad set of skills or a diverse range of skills. It goes further than literacy and numeracy and embodies cooperative work, creativity and proble solving ability.
