Break/turn

Hello,

Could you please tell me whether this sentence is correct? Shouldn't it read "at the turn of the twentieth century"?

Beni

It could be compared only to the negation of (positivistic) science prac- ticed by the artists of the break of the nineteenth and twentieth century.
