It is more a question of using "break" with "nature". I don't understand very clearly what the sentence means. I recommend that you capitalise "Internet".

What about?
The Internet breaks the esotericism of some mystical traditions..

I'm very sorry, I misread the original sentence.

Do you mean that the Internet makes information about these traditions more widely available, so that the knowledge is no longer only in the hands of a few?

That's exactly what I mean.

I think that "breaks" is not quite the optimal word. How about this?:

The Internet sweeps away the esotericism of some mystical traditions.

What about:

The Internet undermines the esotericism of some mystical traditions.

I guess it's possible. Depending on the surrounding context, "undermines" tends to imply a dissatisfaction about the situation (i.e. you would like to see this esotericism preserved).

I think these verbs are too strong.

What about simply saying:

The internet changes/challenges/wanes the esotericism of some mystical traditions

Thank you

Breaks is a strong word.

Challenges sounds good.

Not 'wanes'. It's intransitive.
