Breakfast coffee beans

I was shopping coffee beans and saw a drawer of coffee beans labled as "breakfast".
Does this imply those beans are stronger than usual?
Or just a name as french or columbia coffee beans? Thanks.

Actually, the stuff I drink in the morning is called "Breakfast blend" and it's quite a bit milder than the dark or French roasts favored by some of my colleagues.

I see. Thanks, GG.
Since people seemly tend to drink stronger coffee in the morning, next time I will suggest the store change the name to evening blend. LOL.

I don't know that I agree with your statement. Some people like to have a gentle start to their morning and save the strong stuff for when they are sleepy in the afternoon. I never like the strong stuff.
