Dear Teachers,

1. They recently moved into a big villa, which costs them a hefty $13 million. And they're wasting no time breaking it in.
- What does "break it in" mean in this situation?

It is not an appropriate use of the phrase, really, but it means 'to begin to wear or use in order to make comfortable: These shoes haven't been broken in.'
