"break into a line"

Do British people not say, "break into a line"?

I do know they say "cut into a line(or queue).

Thanks,

Firstly, we do not use "line", we say "queue". "break into a queue" is not commonly used in the UK to my knowledge. The expressions I would use are "push into a queue" or "jump the queue".

"break into a queue" is not commonly used in the UK to my knowledge. The expressions I would use are "push into a queue" or "jump the queue". The latter can also refer to other methods of queue avoidance (as opposed to blatant physical pushing in), e.g. by using influence.
