Can I say,

(a) The librarian praised Ah Meng's bravery.

(b) The librarian praised Ah Chong because of his quick action.

(c) The librarian praised Ah Chong because he was quick in action.

(b) The librarian praised Ah Chong because of his quick action.[Y]

(c) The librarian praised Ah Chong because he was quick in action. [Y]

Here though I see a slight difference: Ah chong is always quick in action, so he wasn't praised for a particular ac
