Vocabulary

brave or brace?

Hi,
There is a meme taken from Games of thrones.

It's correct version is:

brave yourself winter is coming
or
brace yourself winter is coming?

As far as I know, it is not possible to "brave oneself". "brace" makes sense, but whole the phrase does not read properly as you have written it. It needs some punctuation at least.

I see. The way it is written on the picture obviates the need for any punctuation.
