brat

Does the word, "brat", is only used for kids? Or it is common among adults too? I've heard words like "mommy boys" to be used among adults, but I'm unsure about "brat".

Though the word is usually used for children, adults can be brats, too. Actually, my grandmother often jocularly refers to my mother a spoiled brat. com/dictionary/brat
