Brain thinks /races / works

Could someone please tell me how to correctly write these 2 sentences and if they make sense?

My brain thinks/races/works non stop. I can’t seem to shut off my brain.

If you get your blood racing/heart racing, you’re less likely to fall asleep. If you are falling asleep, get up do some jumping jacks, you will stop falling asleep.

Thank you

my brain thinks . . . Not natural English.

My brain races. . It feels like it is going too fast. I don't think you mean this.

My brain works . . . This is the best choice.

Unless you mean 'by sleep', how would you shut your brain off? eg
