Vocabulary

"Bracketless" or "Bracket free"

Hallo,

I am an italian orthodontist and I have to ask the community a question about the name to give to a new orthodontic technique.
In this technique we are not using brackets, which are commonly part of the orthodontic appliance.
I am discussing with a colleague of mine (Danish), if it is more appropriate the name "Bracketless" or "Bracket free".

Thanks to all of you

  • A name ending in 'free' sounds more positive, more appealing, more marketable, I think.

Thank you Clive,

I hope I will have the time to visit this forum often in the future.

My English it's not so good, but in my specific field I am a book writer, so I should defenetively improve my English writing.
I will probably ask your help again.

Thanks for your such a qualitative answer, I was little confused about the two terms. I read it on one of the Delhi dentist website. Thanks again for the answer.
