Bracket after comma, full stop within bracket or outside?
I've always been under the impression that a full stop is outside any brackets at the end of a sentence, unless the sentence starts with a bracket. A colleague insists that if the bracket (within a sentence) is preceded by a comma, then the full stop should appear within the bracket. Is this correct?
