Braains

Hi.
What does 'brains' mean? I thought a human only has one brain...

The ideal was to consume all of the flesh, heart, liver, and brains;

"He was throwing the brains from the skull on to the ground." is correct. Although a person has a single brain, the word "brain" is almost always used in the plural - so when in doubt, use the plural. Some examples:
