We celebrate "Boy's Festival" on May 5 to pray for the health and success of male children.
I am humbly learning again what is important in life while displaying these items for the day.
Each decoration has a message for children. They inspire me as well.

1) Carps are known as a fish with a tremendous will to live, capable of swimming up and over fierce flowing waterfalls. They are taken as a symbol of the strength, courage and patience to accomplish major goals.
2) Tigers are a symbol of the strength, and these dolls are also decorated with the wish that the boys grow up to be as strong as tigers.
3) Samurai dolls are decorated with the wish that the boys grow up to be as strong as samurai warriors.
