Boyfriend

1. I'm talking to my friend why my boyfriend and I broke up a year ago.

I say: He likes/liked sports and I video games, and I'm just the exact opposite.

Should I use likes or liked? Are both okay?

2. I heard they are really good at/in business.

Please pick the right one for me. Thanks!
