Vocabulary

boxer

Hi,
I heard the dr. asked ''Do you have any pain in your boxer?"

Do people say boxer instead of chest?
Thank you in advance

Yes , he is doing a physical exam and asked the patient do you have pain in your boxer, but he has British accent. He used boxer instead of chest wall, perhaps people in UK say so.

Mispronouncing "back" with a broad "A" (like "bock"):

Any pain in your back, sir?

Good guess!

[ Personally, I've never encountered a doctor who called me 'sir'. ]
