Bowel movement/movements

The bowel movements I had yesterday made me feel sick. I felt like throwing up.


Is this grammatical? When do we use singular instead of plural?

It is correct only if you had more than one bowel movement.

If you had only one, then you would say "The bowel movement I had yesterday..."

If you had more than one, then your sentence is correct.
