Can I say,

She bought a bag to / for her sister.

P/s: She brought some fruit to / for his injured friend.

She bought a bag to / for her sister. You could say that she brought a bag to her sister, but not "bought"

P/s: She brought some fruit to / for his injured friend.

Kate is correct. The text was in such small font that I read "brought" instead of "bought!"
