bottle of Water

Our home has a bottle of water for storing cooling water. My home worker didn't cover it (by pressing the cover over the bottle) well and may leaking. I need to remind her everytime. Should I say, "The cover didn't fit enough, pls. press it harder next time" OR "The cover didn't fit the bottle well, pls. press it harder next time.
