both + uncountable noun

Hello. I've learned after "both," only plural noun can be put.
So I wonder could one put uncountable noun, which cannot be plural, can be put after "both."

For example,
"Both love are beautiful."
or "Both love is beautiful."
Does they make sense?
(I think using "is" in the second sentence is wrong regardless to the original question, but I'm not sure so I wrote both of them.
