Both my brothers are not bright.

Could you tell me if the following expressions are correct?

I don't know both girls.
Both my brothers are not bright.
Both of them are not here.

?I don't think they are idiomatic enough, but I'm not sure about that. Because all those sentences are from my dictionary.

I think your dictionary has given some bad examples.

With all, every, or both in the subject, the verb should not be negated. Reword with the negative idea in the subject.
