Vocabulary

Both

Hello

I'd like to check the following sentences.

#1 Both of my sisters became actresses.
#2 Two of my sisters became actresses.

Can I change #1 to #2? Is the meaning of #1 changed when it is rewritten?

Thank you.

#2 makes the reader assume that you have more than two sisters in total. if you only have 2 sisters and they became actresses, then #1 sounds better to me.
