Booking a restaurant table

My business partner wants me to book a table at a restaurant for him.
Could you please check if the following sounds natural and polite for an answer used in a business letter ?

I am sorry to tell you that the restaurant is fully booked on your desired date and time, and I was not able to book seats. However, they have seats available on May 1st, 7:00 p.m.

Please inform me if you would like to reserve a table on that time instead (subject to availability when I hear from you.)
I hope to hear from you soon.

According to me
I am sorry to inform you that "suggested" restaurant is fully booked on "required" date and time. However, it is available on May 1st, 7:00 pm, if it could be postponed or should I look for another restaurant? Please inform me as soon as possible to arrange accordingly. Thank you.

Thank you very much.

The only time I have heard this expression is in the movie Taxi Driver. I think it refers to the arches of your feet.

Your requested time for that restaurant is no longer available, my apologies. However, it is available on May 1st, 7:00pm. If you would like to try another restaurant or postpone your dates, I would be happy to help you. Please let me know if I could be of assistance.
