I am an applicant. I will email to the admissions department.

How can i say "book" formally?

I would like to book a seat/space. or I would like to reserve a space.

Could you reserve a space for me, please?

Well, im planning to take graphic design course. According to a letter, I must email to the admission department for booking a space since I will have a interview.

book is awkward for me.
