BOOK IT TO vs CHARGE IT TO (hotel)

I heard a client say

Could you book it to my room please?

I had never heard this

I usually hear:

The speaker is being cute here. Of course it's supposed to be "charge it to my room", but sometimes people will say this in another, obviously non-standard or incorrect way, just for effect. Other ways of saying this might be: "Could you mark it down to my room please?" "Could you ring it up to my room please?" "Could you check it to my room please?" "Could you put it on my room bill plea
