book in advance for the next day

Does book 'in advance' and 'for the next day' mean the same' If you book for the next day does it mean you book in advance?
Do you say 'immediate rides'?

The taxi service doesn't allow you to book in advance for the next day only immediate rides. You call them and they are on their way.
Thank you in advance
