Book about the Holocaust

Question

Hello,I am a student from Holland and I'm 17 years old, I have to read and compare two books for English and discuss them with my teacher. I am looking for books about the Holocaust, I mean reading books not historical books. Schindler's List is one book but I have to compare so I need two books, I already read Sophie's Choice so that book is not an option. Does anyone has any idea for a good book? I hope to get some reactions,thanks in regard,Olaf Geerse

Must the be fiction? There is a memoir I read, Seed of Sarah: MEMOIRS OF A SURVIVOR , that I thought was a good one.

There is a movie about Holocaust namd "Escaped from Sobibor", made in year 1987.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne is a great novel and has won several awards. It is marketed as a children's book but really it's one of those crossover ones read by adults too - there's nothing 'childish' about it.
