boogie???

Hi,

Does anyone know the meaning of "boogie"?? It's from the 80's song "Yes Sir,I can boogie" .I think it's a kind of dance.But I am not sure.I'm very interested in English.My English grade'd always been 5.And I'm eager to improve it.Thanks from now.Lookin forward to hearing from u asap.
