"Board onto any pressure"

Hi

I was watching a movie last night when the hero said something like " she'd board onto any pressure". I am sure I misheard it - but is there any expression close to it?

Thanks,

Tom

If people "bow" to pressure, they do what they are being told/demanded to do. Could that be it? She'd bowed to the pressure and given in.
