BNCweb Corpus Search
Hi!
I am looking to perform a search using BNCweb which will provide me with a list of a few thousand intransitive bare infinitive verbs. I am currently able to search for bare infinitives using _VVB but I am unsure about how I can filter this list by syntactic frame or even if this is possible at all using this version. (I have very little time in which to do this and cannot get my hands on a copy of the accompanying guide book in time.) I think I will need to run a CQP search but I am really stuck as to what I should stick in the search box!
If anyone here has a solution I would be most grateful!
