Blunt

Is blunt as an attribute of rude person common in current American English?

Top answer

Hi, I'm not American, but I would say it's not, per se. Much depends on the context in which the person is blunt. Sometimes it is good to be blunt, sometimes it is not.

Hi,

Again as a non-American, I'd say it's nor an unusual expression among educated people.
