In Sci-fi stories lots of techie 'gobbledegook' is just made up. It may not mean anything in real life.

So it doesn't mean anything to you?

I'm afraid not.

From your recent posts I'd guess you are reading a couple of unusual books at the moment. One strikes me as a sci-fi novel and the other some kind of 'pulp fiction' gangster/thriller novel.

These genres quite often use some strange phrases, and will invent words to suit their purpose. They are not exactly high literature so don't take the language too serious

Hello MoH

I wonder whether the 'blue angle' relates
to wavelengths of light.

In a navigation system that used laser
guidance, could one conceivably talk
about 'red' and 'blue' angles?

Maybe we have some boffins on board who
could help out.

Misspelling of "Blue Angel", the U.S. Navy stunt pilots?

Oh no! It was exactly BLUE ANGLE.

Don't tell me you have no ideas about what it is!

OK. I won't tell you!Emotion: smile

MoH, I've been working through the night on my own laser-guided navigation
device, and have finally got it to work.
