Are present perfect progressive and past (perfect) progressive ing-forms called 'present participles' or is there a special term for this kind of -ing form???
Thanks a lot

The ING-form in the 'present perfect progressive' (e.g. 'I have been waiting') and 'past perfect progressive' (e.g. 'I had been waiting') is indeed also known as a 'present participle'.
But people often simply say ING-form for both the present participle and the gerund.
ooops...okay...you should know that it was in the middle of the night when i wrote that...nevertheless, you could have given me an answer to my question instead of making fun of a stupid mistake which had nothing to do with the topic.
Chieff....I didn't any mean to hurt you, I just hoped it would be funny to to as well as to me. Slipups happen to everyone including me.There's no use in getting angry with me.
