Hi, Clive

Perhaps, fair-haired boy/man will do the job ?

Thanks !

I like to make the distinction: blond(e).

But here's something odd. I find it perfectly natural to say, "he is blond", but I wouldn't say "he is a blond, as I would with a female.

I use 'fair' when talking about complexion, but also with 'boy' (not 'man').

Note: I have not learned any of this. It's just how I think I've seen or heard it used.
