blimey

Hi,

(1) Is it true that 'blimey' (used to express surprise) is a 100% BrEng interjection? that is, speakers of AmEng don't normally use it?

(2) 'wow' has become sort of an international interjection I guess. I notice many teenagers in my country now use 'wow' more often than any other "native" interjections.

What other 'surprise interjections' can the English language boast of?

-wow
-blimey
-???

thanks
