I wonder if a 'bless you' expression can also mean something like Goodbye (a meaning I've never encountered before). Is this something one can reply to a person who's saying he/she is moving to another country, for instance?

That's what I thought. The context was: person A disliking the fact a movie premieres sooner in another country (his home country) than in the country he lives now, thus he says 'I'm moving back there." And the response from person B (English native) was: Bless you. Weird.
