blame someone for nothing for no reason

Is this natural? If not, how would you go about saying it?
I blamed my sister for nothing/no reason. She wasn't the one who had stolen it.

To me, "I blamed my sister for nothing" would mean "I didn't blame my sister for anything" (i.e., didn't blame her at all).

"I blamed my sister for no reason" seems to have the meaning you want.

You could also just say: I shouldn't have blamed my sister. She wasn't the one who had stolen it.
