Hello,

Is it correct to use the word 'board' instead of 'blackboard' everytime I have to use it?

I believe that the answer depends on the situation.

Nowadays we have:

blackboards
chalkboards
whiteboards

If you are in a classroom, and there is only one kind of board, then it would be fine to simply refer to the "board." After

all, the students are not stupid. They see which kind of board it is.
