'bitterly' or 'awfully' regretted?

Please check my answers to the following exercise:

My choices:

2. C B would work, but C is the common expression.

But as for number 3, I looked up longman dictionary and found one meaning of "shall" that was:
[formal or old-fashioned] used to emphasize that something will definitely happen, or that you are determined that something should happen

Hi, with English as my mother tongue, and currently studying for a Speech and Language Therapy degree, I should like you to know that the answer to this one is WILL.

He will not eat represents the dog's choice and decision not to eat, just as you might not eat in protest/ without an apetite.

No, you can't use shall for number 3. Anon has already explained it very clearly.
For number 1, I have chosen D awfully at first. The choice was perhaps influenced by the expression: I am awfully sorry. But as I think about it again, it seems that either A bitterly or C fully would be better depending on the context. "awfully regret" seems not a good choice on second look.

Ok, thank you all for your replies. So number 3 can't be shall... got it!.
And number 1 seems a bit of a disagreement but, in my opinion, I'd choose A.

Anonymous I would suggest that the answer is A) bitterly, in that the adjective describes the bitterness caused by the regret.
