I think I've heard "a piece of music or song".
e.g.,
"I have listened that song but only a bit/piece." (not complete, e.g., up to minute 2)

A piece of music is usually a complete composition.

I have listened to that song but only a bit of it.

You can use both in the same sentence.

I only listened to a bit of that piece. (to a small part of that composition)
